Five arrested for possession of explosive devices to appear in court

The suspects were found in possession of explosive devices ( 42 Detonator shock tubes) valued at R60 000.00 and a vehicle was confiscated.

Last week Friday members of the Mpumalanga Hawks, the Tactical Response Team and the Kabokweni South African Police Services followed a lead on a group of people who were planning to blast a safe at a church in Khumbula Trust.

These are the suspects that will appear in court today

The suspects aged between 25-38 believed there was cash and Kruger rands in the safe and were later arrested while on their way to the church and immediately they arrested five suspects

The registration of the car that was confiscated

They will appear at the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court today.
