EFF leader out on R1000 bail for fraud charges

EFF's provincial party leader Collen Sedibe was released on R1 000 bail on his latest charges of fraud.

MBOMBELA – Sedibe was immediately arrested on Friday by the police after being thrown out of the legislature with his co-leader, Alfred Skhosana, and did not get the chance to address their members who were waiting for them by the Grove Shopping Complex.

Brig Leonard Hlathi provincial spokesperson says Sedibe faces charges of fraud and he (Hlathi) was not prepared to divulge much information at the moment. “He appeared in court and was released on R1 000 bail. The case was postponed to March 24,” says Hlathi.
