Four of five fugitives recaptured

The South African Police Service management in Mpumalanga applauds the men and women in blue for their swift action in re-arresting four of the five fugitives who escaped from the Acornhoek police cells over the weekend.

The cops with the help of faithful community members, were able to recapture the four villains after an intelligence driven sting operation.

Of the five fugitives, only one of is still on the run. The arrested, Mashaba Lody, Katekani Lubisi, Sabata Maboi and Prosperity Moeng will appear soon before the Acornhoek and Bushbuckridge Magistrate’s Court, facing charges of escaping unlawfully from custody and other cases.

The community is hereby requested to further assist with information that may lead to the arrest of Tshireledzo Makhadzi, who is the remaining fugitive on the list.
