Justice employees appear in court for fraud

Charges were withdrawn against four of the accused, while three of them pleaded guilty

BETHAL – Seven government employees from the Department of Justice appeared before the Bethal Magistrate’s Court on charges of defrauding the department over R700 000.

Charges were withdrawn against four of the accused, while three of them pleaded guilty. Ms Vangile Radebe pleaded guilty to 243 charges, Mr Frank Leruli pleaded guilty on 246 charges while Mr Sipho Mnguni pleaded guilty on 72 charges of fraud and money laundering.

The three will appear again in the same court on January 26, 2017.
