BARBERTON -A well-known lawyer and ANC candidate councillor for Ward 45,Mr Mandla Mamba, survived an assassination attempt after he was shot by an unidentified man last Saturday at 21:30.
Mamba had been shot twice and had collapsed on the ground. The gunman was towering over Mamba and had him at his mercy. He did not fire a third shot, which at point-blank range, could have been fatal.
