Man arrested for stealing from his home
The man was arrested for stealing household items and cellphones from his parental home.
MATSULU – A young man has been arrested in connection with theft in his own home.
A reliable source from the local police station alleged that the man stole household items and cellphones from his parental home. He did this with the intention of selling them and in so doing require funds for his drug addiction.
His arrest came to be after his parents reported the matter to the police and investigations led to their own son – he was found in possession of the stolen cellphones.
On a separate incident, two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, from Sibusisiwe High School were arrested after being found in possession of dagga. This happened during the routine police search at the school. The boys were later released into their parents’ custody and are expected to appear in court soon.
