Youth Development Strategy, an entrepreneurial programme launched in Mbombela

Minister Lindiwe Zulu says the youth needs to be clever, smart and educated to enter into the business world.

The minister of small business development and cooperatives, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, urged the youth to educate and position themselves accurately to successfully enter into the mainstream economy.

This was said during the recent launch of the Youth Development Strategy, an entrepreneurial programme at Mbombela Stadium on April 28.

Zulu called on the youth to educate themselves in order to fit in the mainstream economy.

“Educate yourself, which is much easier today with your phones and iPads. You should commit to improving yourselves. If we are to implement radical economic transformation you need to understand the socio-economic and political state of where you live, in order to understand the economy and politics of South Africa and that of the world,” said Zulu.
