KaBokweni comedian ready to roll out the laughs

The comedian, Ngcozi Yebo, said he was planning a show that will surprise his fans.

Famously known for his daily voluntary work on the street in Tekatakho as a traffic controller while making jokes, Bethuel Nkuna, known as Ngcozi Yebo, is determined to take the entertainment industry to the next level.

Nkuna will be featured during the stand-up comedy night to be hosted by the Ligwagwala FM’s birthday musical festival, among the beasts of comedy such as Skhumba, Summary, Tumi Stopnonsons and many more.

The comedian started volunteering as a traffic controller in 2016 at the four-way intersection between Ngodini and Tekatakho. He has been steadfast in entertaining his community by telling jokes, while ensuring they follow the rules of the road.

“I am grateful for the opportunity the radio station is giving me. It has been a dream for me to be part of such an event as an upcoming comedian, especially sharing the stage with the people I look up to,” he said.
“This motivates me to shine and to achieve whatever I want if I keep working hard and dream for more. I encourage every upcoming artist to continue to believe in their craft and not to let anybody destroy their peace of mind. If you are on the right path to pursue your dreams, you have to be ready to do whatever you are interested in.”
