Mkhuhlu author publishes short story about finding love

Talented writer Tshepo Ndlovu said the story is about giving hope to people by making them understand they can be happy again after disappointments.

A local author and pastor, Tshepo Ndlovu, has published his second short story, titled Corridors of Hope.
This book got him into the top 10 on Publish’d Afrika Magazine‘s competition.

Publish’d Afrika Magazine is an online platform aimed at providing writers with information on publishing opportunities.
According to Ndlovu, the story is about a 25-year-old man called Lucas Ngidi, a school cleaner, who found love in the school corridors. It was published online.

“The short story is about giving hope to people by making them understand that you can be happy again after disappointments. For example, the main character, after losing his soccer career and his girlfriend, considered committing suicide, not knowing he would find love again.”

Ndlovu said he was inspired to write this book because he knows how it feels like to be in a hopeless situation and to be on the verge of giving up. “Just like my name, Tshepo, which means ‘hope’, I love giving people hope. My love of writing books started when I was 10, but because of the lack of knowledge, I would write for others and not get any credit for my work,” he said.
