Nkangala District Municipality manager and driver found alive in Gauteng

They were reunited with their families in the early hours of this morning, Thursday October 27.

The Nkangala District Municipality’s manager, Maggie Skosana, and her driver, Gugu Mtsweni, were both found alive in Diepsloot, Gauteng late on Wednesday evening, October 26.
A Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Colonel Donald Mdhluli, said, “It is said that both were reportedly dumped by their assailants in the bush near the N14 in Diepsloot.

“Allegedly Mtsweni had been tied up with rope, but she managed to get to the road where a taxi operator saw her. She related her story to him and he immediately informed the police. The SAPS went with them to the bush and recovered Skosana.
