Gospel singing sensation releases her second single
Following the success of her first single, titled “Umusa wakho”, which was released late last year, gospel music sensation, Prudie Zwane, has dropped another inspiring single.
MBOMBELA – Titled, “Ungumenti wendlela”, Prudie’s second single, which is already available for download on all digital music platforms, is all about giving God all the glory He deserves for pulling the nation out of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I released my first single last year and it was such a very bad year because of the pandemic. But because God had a plan and purpose for the song, it was well received by the public. Having survived the pandemic which killed many of our loved ones in the past year, God spoke again. This year, I released my second single, seeing how He pulled us all through the Covid-19 pandemic.

I am reaffirming that He is indeed a waymaker, especially in times of sorrow and despair,” said Prudie.
This passionate gospel diva said she has been singing since she wore diapers and has never looked back.
“Singing is my passion. I started singing gospel at a very young age, at Sunday school to be precise. I have been singing all my life at church and events. Everyone in my neighborhood knows me through my music. I love singing. I sing every day and everywhere,” she said.
She said God came through for her in February 2020 when she was discovered by Mangaliso Goje, one of Mpumalanga’s finest producers. “I was attending a gala dinner at Faith Mission in Clau-Clau, where I was invited as a guest artist.
After performing that night, Goje jokingly asked for a copy of my CD. I laughed and told him I didn’t have a CD.
He was puzzled and asked me how come I had not yet recorded one, but I could not answer him. And that is when he requested a meeting with me at his studio, SHM Productions,” she recalled.
She said Goje took her under his wing and turned her into a professional, which saw her releasing the two singles. She acknowledged Goje, her family and church for believing in her talent.
