Former Mpumalanga MEC’s murder case postponed to 2022

The murder case against the former MEC for the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs, Mandla Msibi and his co-accused has been postponed to February 24, 2022 for further investigations.

MBOMBELA –  Msibi made a brief appearance at the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on Monday December 6.

He is alleged to have been involved in a shooting in which two people were fatally shot and a third person wounded on Sunday August 22 in Mbombela.

Five people have been arrested in connection with this case. Msibi and his co-accused are out on R20 000 bail. The co-accused are Joseph Charlie Ngwenya, Tshepo Matsane, Anele Mnisi and Njabulo Mkhondo.
