Night of the Queens imminent

This event, which seeks to address social issues facing modern women, is held in each August, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, had to be rescheduled to this Saturday.

The veteran actress, Sophie Ndaba, will headline the seventh annual Night of the Queens, scheduled for Saturday November 20 at Emnotweni.

This event, which seeks to address social issues facing modern women, is held in each August, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, had to be rescheduled to this Saturday.

Every year, the event’s organisers do their best to put together an electrifying show with various speakers tackling sensitive issues that affect women on a daily basis. According to Nozipho Zee, this year’s show will be no different.

“The only difference is the fact that the stakes are up. We have gone all out and sourced the best speakers. We also focus on various themes each year and we try by all means to source speakers about these,” said Zee.

This year’s theme is “The Lord is within her and she will not fall”. “It resonates well with our guest speakers, especially Sophie Ndaba, who has had some tough and challenging experiences recently. Despite all of this, she has remained firm and with God by her side, she certainly is not failing,” Zee said.

Another speaker billed to give the queens in attendance some money-saving tips, is Agree Nzimande of Nedbank. Ap Dimakatso Adams will also make an appearance during the event.

“These speakers have been carefully selected to address matters related to the mind, body and soul. Education, business, finances, health and beauty are some of the aspects our speakers will want to dwell on. They will also address our well-being and financial issues, and give legal and beauty advice,” concluded Zee.
