Police commissioner worried about the release of “Spykos”

He was facing five (5) charges in total, two (2) murder, one (1) business robbery, two (2) possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

Nelspruit – The Provincial Commissioner of Mpumalanga has expressed his concern over the release of, Mr Sanele Godfrey Sambo (22) known as “Spykos”, on free bail by Magistrate Brian Mogale of Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court last week on Friday.

Mogale agreed with the defence lawyer Mr Khoza and decided to release the accused on free bail without bail application on new facts.

Sambo “Spykos” was arrested on Friday,  June 7, 2013, after police in Mpumalanga received a tip off and immediately headed to where he was hiding at Prinsloo Street, Pretoria Central around 18:30.

He was facing five (5) charges in total, two (2) murder, one (1) business robbery, two (2) possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. He firstly appeared before the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court on Monday 10th of June 2013.

The Provincial Commissioner of Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Thulani Ntobela has expressed his concerns over how Sambo was mysteriously released on a free bail. “The police had worked tirelessly in ensuring that the suspect had been arrested after he (Spykos) ran away from his evil actions. I am very much disappointed by the release and we (SAPS) will investigate if there was any form of unfair collusion, either by the police or anyone, and get to the bottom of this matter. This suspect had terrorised the community and he cannot just be released like that” said the Provincial Commissioner.

Spykos must go back in jail.it shows that there is a short hand in our justice here in south africa .there were many hardcore criminals in pienaar before spykos even today they are serving their sentences .Wht is so special about him that he got out wit free bail who were paid to make this decision.our lives are now in fear of spykos.that means our community wil always be the Bad Pienaar until the end.

  2. Yes I don’t think ukuthi this guy must be out on free bail because this is a dangerous and a serial killer and now as a community we are living in fear. You can’t leave a person like Him to be part of the community.
