MPN: What is the reason behind your success?

Ntombi Ngobese: I was not born into a wealthy family; the reason behind my success is the fact that I have wealthy brains.
MPN: What is your motto?
Ntombi Ngobese: It is simple, if you think big you will receive or achieve big things in life. I want young people to look at me and see possibilities.
MPN: Who is your role model and from where do you draw your inspiration?
Ntombi Ngobese: I always looked up to my parents. My mom never had a qualification from school, but she values education as if she is somebody who has a doctorate. Our dad was an all-in-one person. There was nothing that could be done by hand that he would fail to do. He would always say let your hands work for you, which helped me and my sisters in all types of jobs. My parents taught us how to be strong and to focus on our goals and be determined to achieve, laziness was not part of the lessons I learned from them.

I will also support young scientists with their projects and any provide other generic support that is needed.
MPN: How do you spend your spare time?
Ntombi Ngobese: I don’t have spare time, every minute counts and I create time for the things I am passionate about.
MPN: What are your future plans?
Ntombi Ngobese: I see myself owning a non-profit organisation that will look at two things: Rehabilitation for the persons suffering from substance abuse and bursary funding for less privileged students.
