Still no High Court date for alleged serial murderer from Masoyi

Two of the families of the five women allegedly killed by Thabiso Julius Mndawe (24) are still in the dark as to the whereabouts of the bodies of their loved ones. The bodies of two of the victims, Felicia Mndlovo and Noxolo Mdluli, had not been handed to their families for burial yet because the police’s forensic investigations were apparently still incomplete.

Mndawe briefly appeared in the Masoyi Periodical Court last Friday in connection with the murder of these five women. The matter was postponed to March 2 for Mndawe to be given a High Court date, as the matter will now be transferred there. The bodies of these five women were exhumed from Mndawe’s yard by the police on July 14, 2019, after he had pointed the spot out to them.
