One killed during a head on collision on R547
One man was trapped inside the minibus. He was declared dead on the scene by the Provincial Services.
This morning, one man lost his life and another was left injured when a truck and a minibus collided on the R547 Kinross road.

According to Russel Meiring, the communications officer of ER24, paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene at 08:58 only to find that the Provincial Emergency Medical Services were already in attendance.

“A truck and minibus were lying on their sides by the side of the road. One man was trapped inside the minibus. He was declared dead on the scene by the Provincial Services,” he said. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries. He was treated and transported to Mediclinic Highveld for further treatment. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
