Teen arrested for grandfather’s murder
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene where the old man was declared dead.
A 16 year old boy was arrested in Dullstroom on Sunday for the murder of his grandfather.
According to police, the teenager had a heated argument with his grandfather to a point where he allegedly went to his grandfather’s room to get a pallet gun and allegedly shot the old man with it.
A member of the public notified police about the incident. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene where the old man was declared dead.

Preliminary investigations re that the man had gunshot wound in his upper body and the boy was immediately charged for the old man’s murder. The firearm has been taken in for ballistic test.
The police are working together with probation officers and the case docket will be handed over to the Director of Public Prosecution for a decision. The teenager is expected to appear in Court soon.
