Unclaimed body lies in mortuary for three months
Elukwatini police are looking for the family and relatives of an unidentified body.
The body of a man believed to be “Chicco Makwakwa” has been lying unidentified in the state mortuary for almost three months now.
“He was found with stab wounds on the streets in Extension 6 on May 16,” said Sgt Peace Mbokane, spokesperson for Elukwatini police.
Mbokane said witnesses alleged he was stabbed by unknown men who fled the scene afterward.

“We have been struggling to get any identification of him. He had no identity card him and no one has come forth to claim him so far. He is estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old,” he adds.
