10 men appear in court for possession of explosive devices and unlicensed firearms
It was also discovered that the suspects were involved in a business robbery around Mayflower.
CAROLINA- Ten men between the 25 and 34 were arrested on Sunday on the R33 for possession of unlicensed firearms, ammunition and explosives.
The arrest came after the sector patrol team received information about a taxi suspected to have kidnapped children travelling towards Carolina.
The police stopped the taxi and upon searching, two unlicensed firearms, four explosive devices, cash and cigarettes were found. It was also discovered that the suspects were involved in a business robbery earlier on around Mayflower.

They appeared in the Carolina Magistrate’s Court on Monday and the case was postponed to Monday, July 29 for a formal bail application and verification of their addresses.
