Notorious criminals jailed for life
Two notorious criminals who had terrorized Masoyi and surrounding areas between 2012 and 2015 had been put behind bars.
Mr Bongani Ndziyane (27) from Chochocho and Mr Charles Lucky Mgwenya (25) from Mnganduzwenu were found guilty for a series of house robbery and housebreaking, rapes, kidnapping and possession of a firearm.

They both appeared in the Gauteng’s division of the High Court seated in Graskop Magistrate’s Court on November 16.
Ndziyane was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for housebreaking and robbery,15 years imprisonment for rapes, life imprisonment for attempted compelled rape,15 years for possession of a firearm and 10 years imprisonment for kidnapping and life imprisonment for Rape.

His total sentence is life imprisonment plus 70 years imprisonment.
The court sentenced Mngwenya to 15 years imprisonment for housebreaking and robbery, life imprisonment for the attempted compelled rape, life imprisonment for rape and 10 years imprisonment for kidnapping. His total sentence is life imprisonment plus an extra 25 years in prison. The suspects were both declared unfit to possess firearms.
