Rhino poaching syndicate’s bail application delayed

All six accused remain in custody and will appear in court this Friday.

Six key syndicate members implicated in a massive trafficking of poached rhino horns arrested on  September 18 appeared at the White River Magistrate’s Court yesterday for further bail application.

The matter was not finalised and the case was postponed to October 19, 2018 for continuation of bail application.

Sydney Petrus Mabuza ,Clyde Lubisi, Cloud Mnisi, Joseph Nyalungu, Aretha Mhlanga and Rachel Qwabane have already made a series of court appearances since the day of their arrest.

The defence on this matter have already presented their augments and the state is tiring opposing the bail application. All six accused remain in custody.
