PHOTOS: KaNyamazane protest leaves residents stranded

According to Capt Jabu Ndubane, the situation is tense and urges parents to keep their children safe.

Residents including scholars were left stranded this morning following a planned protest in KaNyamazane.

This is after community members held a meeting during the weekend regarding the cancellation roof repairing project of houses affected by the hailstorm that hit Mbombela in May.

In a Whatsapp message that circulated last week, it states that most of the houses were never repaired as promised by Disaster management due to lack of funds. It was also indicated that scholars would not be affected by the protest, yet many were turned back by protesters.
