Stolen items recovered thanks to quick action

Various items of stolen property were recovered thanks to various law enforcement branches and security companies.

NELSPRUIT – Various items of stolen property were recovered thanks to Bossies Community Justice, Hi-Tech Security Nelspruit, SAPS Flying Squad and members of the SAPS detective branch this morning.

Two motorcycles were stolen from a house in Totius Crescent in the early hours of the morning. They were later discovered under leaves and branches in two different wetland areas by Capital Security Nelspruit. Both motorcycles were damaged as it appears they were thrown to the ground before the thieves fled.

Later this morning a firearm, handbag and cellphone were stolen out of a vehicle at Church Unlimited. The cellphone was traced to a house in KaMagugu and two suspects were arrested. Upon inspecting the house, five laptop bags, two laptops, a handbag, camera, Garmin GPS, a bag full of high-speed flash drives, two cellphones, a gas pistol and HD video camera were discovered.

It was found that one of the laptops was stolen out of a motor vehicle this morning at the Ferreira Street Wimpy parking lot. It was returned to the owners.
