KaBokweni police are looking for Sibusiso Hlophe in connection with the murder of his lover, Zanele Gastor Madonsela.
This comes after SAPS found the body of Madonsela in her house at Bhuga on April 30. The body was in a pool of blood, with the throat cut.
It is alleged that the couple had an argument a week before the incident and Madonsela obtained a protection order against Hlophe.
It is further alleged that Hlophe violated the protection order and went to the deceased’s house.

“On Monday morning the suspect called a member of his partner’s family to tell her that he had killed the deceased. Upon arrival at the victim’s place on Monday, her lifeless body was found lying in a pool of blood on the floor,” said Capt Shirley Nsimba, spokesperson of KaBokweni police.
The suspect is still at large.
