AUDIO: Corpse mutilated in grave after burial

A corpse of a man living with albinism was found by municipal workers tampered with at Tekwane Cemetery on Tuesday morning.The deceased's hands and left foot were removed when suspects dug his grave.

TEKWANE NORTH – Police are investigating a case of violation of a grave following the mutilation of Xolane Mkhize’s (28) body.

Recently, Thokozani Msibi (32), who is believed to be a sangoma from Swaziland, appeared in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court in connection with the abduction of two children, Gabisile Shabane (13) who lived with albinism and a 15-month-old Nkosikhona Ngwenya from Vosman in Witbank. The latest arrest brings to six the number of suspects arrested since the killing of the children in January. The suspects appeared in court yesterday and were remanded in custody. They were charged with murder, kidnapping, conspiracy to kidnapping and violation of a corpse.

Gabisile’s beheaded body was found in a shallow grave’and her cousin near a stream on the N4 Road.

Traditional healer,  Mandla Thabethe also known as Gogo Mahlalentabeni says using body parts to heal is associated with witchcraft. “There is a difference between a healer and a witchdoctor. Should a sangoma be found with a human’s being body parts, they are likey to  be practicing witchcraft.
