Public to be assisted on how to claim for accidents

This will take place take place at Holiness Union Church on March 17. The event starts at 08:00.

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) will next week visit the community of Naas in the Nkomazi Municipality. Qualifying claimants will be offered a range of services.

Crash victims will be provided with the highest standard of care and professionalism.

“At the heart of this community outreach is service delivery and making a difference to qualifying claimants, including everyone affected by the scourge of road crashes. Claimants will be assisted in direct registering new claims, consolidation of required compliance documents, settlement offers, and reporting of cases involving alleged unscrupulous attorneys ,” explained Seretse Ernest Nkuna the media officer.

The RAF prides itself in demonstrating integrity, honesty and fairness in all its actions and decisions, underpinned by its professional conduct.

Members of the community are encouraged to bring their ID documents to get help for their inquiries and information on their claims.

“Those who need to be assisted with new claims need to bring along their case numbers, accident reports, hospital reports, vehicle registrations, and details of other parties involved in the car crash,” added.

Those who are unable to attend the event are encouraged to visit the RAF at any of the following offices: Nelspruit Customer Service Centre at Canary Walk Mall, Shop No. 11, 8 Bester Street, Nelspruit.

Information on RAF is also available at 11 hospital service centres situated throughout the province: Standerton Hospital, Witbank Hospital, Evander Hospital, Rob Ferreira Hospital, Tonga Hospital, Themba Hospital, Mapulaneng Hospital, Ermelo Hospital, Piet Retief Hospital, Mmametlhake Hospital and Kwa-Mhlanga Hospital.
