Provincial reconfigured Executive Council announcement postponed
The postponement is subsequent to continuing consultations between the Office of the Premier, Acting Premier as well as the ruling party.
Mpumalanga Acting Premier, Refilwe Mtsweni was supposed to announce the reconfigured executive council of the Mpumalanga Provincial Government today following the resignation of former Premier David Mabuza and Education MEC, Reginah Mhaule.
Spokesperson , Zibonele Mncwango said members of the media will duly be informed of the new date and time immediately the consultations have been concluded. “The Office of the Premier wishes to apologise for the inconvenience this might have caused,” said Mncwango in a media statement.
Mtsweni is also expected to announce the replacement of her previous portfolio of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs.
