Meet the new first lady of SA

She is the wife of ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa and president of South Africa.

Dr Tshepo Motsepe is the current first lady of South Africa, she is the wife of ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa, and the president of South Africa.

Motsepe studied to become a medical doctor, completing her master’s of public health in maternal child health and ageing at Harvard School of Public Health.

The Citizen reports, She also holds a Social Entrepreneurship Programme certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

Motsepe has worked in both private and public hospitals and has served as the chairperson of the Gauteng health department’s Accreditation Committee, she also works for numerous non-governmental and non-profit organisations

FAMILY: The couple has four children. She is the sister of South Africa’s billionaire, Patrice Motsepe.

Her father is the late Chief Augustine Butana Chaane Motsepe, mining magnate and former Mamelodi Sundowns owner.

Her sister, Bridgette Radebe, is married to Minister in the Presidency, Jeff Radebe.
