Orlando Pirates to host goalkeeper trials
The trials are exclusively for goalkeepers who are between the ages of 16 and 19.
Orlando Pirates will host trials for U-16 to U-19 goalkeepers at the Randburg Sports Complex this weekend.
All participants in the trials are required to report to training with the following:
Physical ID / passport / birth certificate
Copy of your parents’ Identity Document
Soccer boots
Takkies
Goalkeeper gloves
Shorts / pants
Shirts
The trial details are as follows:
Sunday, January 14 at 10.00 am
Monday, January 15 at 12.00pm
Tuesday, January 16 at 12.00pm
Please note hat there will be no cost for participation in the Orlando Pirates trials. There has been a recent spate of fraudsters taking advantage of families and making them pay for trials in the name of Orlando Pirates. The club strongly condemns this behaviour and urges all participants and their families to be aware of anyone suggesting that they pay for participation in Orlando Pirates trials. All trials hosted by the club are free of charge to all members of the public who meet the criteria required.
