Police on man-hunt for ‘Plasma TV’ gang suspects

It is alleged that the pair might be linked to the Plasma TV gang

KABOKWENI – Two suspects were arrested yesterday for house robbery.

The arrest came at a time where police are hunting for two armed suspects believed to members of “Plasma Tv gang” who are terrorising the community at Maporo, Bhejukufa and Manyeveni. At this stage about nine cases of the house, robbery has been reported at the local police station where thugs stole Plasma TV.

Information at police disposal indicated that in one of the incidents, the thugs allegedly broke a sliding door and pointed the owner of the house with a firearm and took a plasma TV.

The spokesperson of Pienaar Cluster, Capt Jabu Ndubane confirmed that there are thugs that are targeting Plasma TV’s.

“There are criminals that are giving residents sleepless nights in this area and surroundings. We are working tirelessly to ensure that the culprits face the law. At the moment I cannot confirm that the two suspects that are arrested might be part of the TV plasma gang and investigations are still on,” said Ndubane.
