2017 Indigenous Knowledge Systems Expo has been launched in Mbombela
The Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor has officially launched the annual 2017 Indigenous Knowledge System Expo and Workshop at Mbombela stadium.
The event will take place from today until Thursday.
It is hosted by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), in conjunction with the Mpumalanga Provincial Government.The event brings together more than 30 exhibitors with exciting displays on indigenous medicine, food, arts and crafts.

Leading researchers and academics from different academic institutions in the country are presenting on the use of indigenous knowledge to develop cosmeceuticals and nutraceuticals.
