60% of the young people who benefited from the program are women.

MBOMBELA – Masisebente Youth Enterprise program that was launched in June is moving in a positive direction in terms of creating job opportunities for young people.
This was revealed during a media briefing held today at the City of Mbombela Local Municipality.

“We are happy with the progress of the program. We are not only grooming them to start their own businesses, but we are also giving them skills that can help them to sustain their businesses since unemployment is a crisis,” said Mashego.
