22 year old man arrested for stabbing a 20 year old man to death
According to Sgt Peace Mbokane, spokesperson Elukwatini police, other patrons tried to intervene but were allegedly attacked by the suspect's friends and were forced to flee back inside the tavern leaving the suspect and deceased outside.
A 22-year old man was arrested for stabbing a 20-year-old to death at a known tavern in Nhlazatshe.
Mr Zwelethu Nhlanhla Nhlabathi was arrested at about 08:30 on Sunday following the crime. He allegedly had a heated argument with one Sibonelo Nkosi at a tavern at Long Homes on Saturday night.

“The deceased was later found lying face down with blood spouting from his chest,” he said. He was rushed to Embuleni hospital where he was certified dead on arrival.
The suspect briefly appeared before the Eesterhoek Magistrate’s Court on Monday on a charge of murder. He was remanded in custody. The matter was postponed for his bail application on September 6.
