A woman’s decomposed body found in a shallow grave at Manyeveni Trust
Her body was buried in a shallow grave with part of her body exposed from the ground. Thembelihle Base was reported missing in July.
A woman’s decomposed body was found next to a grave on Saturday morning at veld in Manyeveni Trust outside Kabokweni.
A man herding cattle made the gruesome discovery when he was greeted by an unpleasant odour. According to the police the man then identified what looked like a shallow grave with some of the body parts exposed.
“The police were immediately alerted. We confirmed that it was a body of a woman, who was later identified as Thembelihle Base who had been reported missing since July 10 2017,” said the police.
The suspect will make his first appearance in court today at the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court.
