Ten year old girl shot in a strangers house
He alleged that he heard a voice of a minor saying don't kill me.
MPUMALANGA: A 10-year-old girl had to be rushed to hospital after being shot on the arm inside a man’s house, around 03:00 on Friday morning. Members of the SAPS at Kanyamazane responded to a complaint of shooting that had taken place inside a house at the township.
When police arrived at the scene they found the complaint, who is the owner of the house and he pointed to two minors, a 10 year old girl and an eight year old boy, right inside the house. He then narrated to the police that he heard a strange noise inside the house while sleeping. He then got up to investigate and upon opening his bedroom door, he saw that the light at the sitting room was switched on, he then took his pistol, went out of his bedroom whereupon he then saw a shadow and he fired two shots. He alleged that he then heard a voice of a minor saying don’t kill me. He then switched on the light and saw the two minors, he asked them what were they doing inside his house and wondered how they had gained entry.

He reported that the two children then pointed to a small garage window. He further stated that at that moment, he then noticed that the girl was bleeding as she had been shot, at which point he called the police and an ambulance. It was established that the children are staying at another section of the township approximately 5 km away from the scene and a case of attempted murder was opened. She was taken to hospital and police are investigating.
