Employees involved in illegal strike given an ultimatum
City of Mbombela Municipality employees are requested to resume with their normal daily duties by Monday the 7th august 2017.
The city of Mbombela notes with regret the continued involvement of some of its employees in an illegal and unprotected strike that commenced on the 1st of august 2017 and continuing.
Employees are requested to resume with their normal daily duties by Monday the 7th august 2017. Failure to heed this request will result in the employer having to summarily dismiss employees not returning to work and continue with the illegal and unprotected strike.

Employees are cautioned not to engage in illegal and / or criminal behaviour while engaged in the illegal and unprotected strike.
The City of Mbombela remains committed to its rate payers and all citizens alike that services will be rendered even during this time and further request for patience whilst management works towards bringing the situation back to normal
