Provincial ANC sends condolences to the Mandela family

The ANC  in the province has sent their condolences to the Mandela family.The Provincial Executive Committee, the branches, the ANCYL, the PTT of the Youth League and the Alliance is greatly saddened by the untimely passing of the Nobel Peace Prize winner, World Icon, Freedom fighter and the former ANC president Nelson Mandela.

Mandela died last night at his home in Johannesburg in the presence of his family. He died after a long  illness. The ANC will always remember him as a selfless leader who was promoting non- racialism, non- sexism and a leader who wanted all Africans enjoy freedom.

The provincial secretary Mr. Lucky Ndinisa said they will await instructions from National Executive Committee of the ANC about the memorial services and funeral services.

“Our condolence goes to his family, his wife, children, relatives and all the people of the world.” said Ndinisa.
