COPE president to visit province

It will be the second time that he will have visited the province since the high court’s decision that he was the legitimate president of COPE.

As part of the 16 Days of Activism against women and children abuse,COPE’s President Mosioua Lekota will be coming to Mpumalanga province.

Lekota will be addressing the community as well as members of COPE in the Marite Community hall on Saturday at 10:00

It will be the second time that he will have visited the province since the high court’s decision that he was the legitimate president of COPE.

He was previously at the Waterval Boven FET College where he addressed members of COPE and interpreted the meaning of the high court judgment in his favour.

“The abuse of women and children is still a huge challenge in Mpumalanga. It is for this reason therefore that we have decided to invite Comrade President Lekota to come and address us in this regards. We pray that the abuse will be reduced after the president will have spoken,” said COPE Women’s League national deputy president, Nomsa Kubayi.
