Circuit delegates expected to meet angry parents

Parents vowed not to bow down until they get a positive answer

MSHADZA TRUST – Delegates from the Ntsikazi Circuit are expected to meet with the parents of learners from Siyafundza Primary School.
This comes after the halt of classes since Monday, after parents locked the school gate due to overcrowding.

The parents voiced their concerns not only about overcrowding, but also the shortage of furniture and usable toilets.

”Learners are forced to use broken chairs and desks; such an environment is not good for our children. The restrooms are dirty. At times you find human waste on the floor, and this increases health risks,” said a parent who requested to remain anonymously.

The parents said they decided to take this route because they are fed up with waiting to get a new school that was supposed to be built by the Department of Education in Dingindonda in 2003.
