Seven suspects arrested for business robberies
The police say they are still investigating if the suspects are linked to any crimes in the area.

EMBALENHLE – Police arrested seven suspects yesterday aged between 16 and 32 years of age. The arrests follow an intense investigation following a series of business robberies in the area said the police.
The culprits were found in possession of unlicensed firearms, seven live rounds, airtime and cash. They are charged with possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition and possession of suspected stolen property.

However, one of the suspects, a 22-year-old female was only charged for possession of suspected stolen property.
“Police are currently looking at the possibility that the suspects may be linked with other crimes in the area while looking at the possibility of more suspects that still need to be arrested. The suspects are expected to appear before the Evander Magistrate’s Court,” adds the police.
