The province is ready for “Zuma must fall march”

Citizens are more than ready for Zuma must fall march, but the EFF won't participate

MBOMBELA – Different political parties and organisations in the province are geared and ready for the Zuma must fall march that will be held on Friday from Sonpark Shopping Centre to the Nelspruit Rugby stadium.

The leader of DA, Mr James Masango said it’s about time for Zuma to step down as South Africa is moving in a wrong direction.

“We are ready and we are expecting community members from various places who are not happy about the leadership of president Jacob Zuma and the reshuffling of the cabinet,” said Masango.

Masango said if Zuma doesn’t step down as a president, this country will be another Zimbabwe.

“The country is moving in a wrong direction, As we are speaking, we are at a junk status and as DA, we are going to raise a motion of no confidence and will continue conducting door to door campaigns where we will urge citizens to support the call of Zuma to step down,” he added.

Meanwhile, the chairperson of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Mr Collen Sedibe said they are not going to participate in the march, not because they are supporting Zuma, but they believe that the march will not have an impact.

“As EFF, we lodged a motion of no confidence in parliament, he must be removed as he has done enough damage and even a majority of the people in parliament, including members of the ANC, are not happy about him and the issue of reshuffling the cabinet,”
