Learners should not be used to fight community battles

WHITE RIVER –MEC for the Department of Education, Ms Reginah Mhaule stated that her department wants to bring back the dignity of education in the province.

Mhaule indicated this during a prayer meeting that was held at Ingwenyama Lodge on Friday. She urged the community not to use learners to fight their battles during service delivery protests. “Leave these children to attend school when protesting for better services. Do not force them t take part in damaging the same property that will make them better citizens in the future,” said Mhaule.
