KABOKWENI – Residents of Mhlumeni on the outskirts of this area allegedly claimed that they are experiencing power outages daily due to the illegal electricity connections well known as Izinyokanyoka.

One of the concerned residents, Mr Mangaliso Sibanyoni, said they are fed up of the people who are using Izinyokanyoka as he said “We’ve had enough of this parasites who do not want to install electricity meters in their houses. Every day we experience power outages because they steal our electricity.

If they don’t afford it, they must move out of this area instead of making our lives miserable.”
