Mother arrested for attempted murder

NEWSCOM – A 31-year-old woman has been arrested for attempted murder after she drank an abortion potion, but the plan failed to effect the abortion.
Mpumalanga News learnt that the woman landed herself in hot water after she left the infant in a toilet as she thought that she was dead, but after some few seconds she cried out loud until she was heard by another woman who wanted to use the toilet and alerted the police.
The spokesperson of the police, Jabu Ndubane confirmed the incident and said:

“It’s true that we arrested a woman who was six months pregnant who tried to commit an abortion. A case of attempted murder has been opened and we are still busy with investigations.”
