The Butterflies sting like bees

The team will now face Francis Ladies on October 9 at Schoemandale sports ground.

In the spirit of promoting the development of soccer from the grassroots level, as well as keeping the youth off the streets, the management of White Hazy Construction donated soccer kit to the directors of Butterfly Ladies FC from Mshadza.

Last week the company made the presentation of the kit.

This comes after a request for a kit was made to them by the manager of Butterfly Ladies, Lammy Ngomane and members of Msogwaba Development.

Ngomane explained that the donation came at the right time, just after his team were promoted. Their first game in the league was a 12-0 victory against Tshwane University of Technology Mbombela Campus ladies soccer team.

Butterfly Ladies played against Nkomazi Ladies at Masoyi Stadium this past Sunday.
They won three-nil.

“Two goals were scored by Ngoanomokobane Baloyi and the other one by Marvel Makama,” said Ngomane. The team will now face Francis Ladies on October 9 at Schoemandale sports ground.
Ngomane thanked the management of White Hazy Construction for the donation and promised a string of wins.

The 16-team league kicked-off last week.

Sasol’s brand marketing specialist, Brenda Mopeli said, “The Sasol league has certainly paved the way for many girls in this country who are passionate about football to participate in the sports on a semi-professional level.

“We are excited about the growth and development of women’s football and we are proud of our contribution to the government’s transformation of the
sport”.
