More arrests during Hawks operation expose
According to Capt Dineo Sekgotodi, six suspects men were arrested in connection with drug dealing on August 19, during a Project 24 Operation.
MIDDELBURG- Ten illegal immigrants aged between 26 and 34 years were arrested during an operation expose in Mhluzi on Thursday evening.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of one suspect arrested in connection with possession stolen vehicle and another one for possession of counterfeit goods including CDs and CD writers worth to an estimated value R20 000.
A 46 year old male was also arrested for possession of six dagga pokes worth R300.
The suspects appeared before Middleburg Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
According to Capt Dineo Sekgotodi, six suspects men were arrested in connection with drug dealing on August 19, during a Project 24 Operation.
“The suspects were arrested from different addresses and two of their vehicles used in transporting the drugs were confiscated,” she said.
“More suspects and vehicles are being traced,” she adds.
