Man accused of witchcraft beaten to death
According to the suspect, he went to a tavern with his friends when he came back at night, he found the pensioner outside his yard.
PIENAAR – A pensioner was killed after he was accused of practising witchcraft in a certain house.
Mpumalanga News learnt that the pensioner was assaulted until he took his last breath by the owner of the house.
The spokesperson of the local police, Lt Jabu Ndubane confirmed the incident as she alluded:
“According to the suspect, he went to a tavern with his friends when he came back at night, he found the pensioner outside his yard and asked him what he was doing and he told him that he was practising witchcraft. He started to assault him until he died.”
