CLAU CLAU – A 22 year old man was shot and killed, by a group of armed men after they tried to rob him last week Friday.
The 22 year-old man who was on his way home with his four friends when three armed men approached them. It is alleged that two of the robbers then demanded cell phones and shot the deceased who died instantly.
The three guys then fled the scene.
Kabokweni police calls upon all community members to assist them in catching the doers of this incident.
The three men are believed to be a serious danger to all communities as they are heavenly armed. It is alleged that they are the ones who go around and commit cases of robbery and rape around Gutshwa and Khumbula.
As investigation continues the Kabokweni police station communication officer Cpt. Shirley Ngomane said they would like to warn community members not to take the law into their own hands as the guys are dangerous.
“We request the community to assist us with information which can lead to their arrest, this can be done through community structures or calling the police station” she concluded.
