Mec ready to host Imbizo
Some of the grievances that they have raised included trading of dagga ,theft of light vehicles and livestock, especially cattle.
SCHOEMANSDAL – MEC for community safety ,security and liaison Mr Vusi Shongwe is expected to return to this area and held Imbizo on Saturday where he will be interacting with community members .
This publication learnt that his visit comes after the Imbizo was cancelled two weeks ago after community members
were demanding a response of a memorandum from the local police station .
Some of the grievances that they have raised included trading of dagga ,theft of light vehicles and livestock, especially cattle.
The residents went further and indicated that the police station is not functioning well and the police officers are not responding in time when they were given a tip off or called to a crime scene.
